"Max McMurdo visited our school for a full two days. He delivered some of the most inspirational lessons that the children have ever recieved. Not only did the children learn valuable lessons about the need to recycle, they produced some fascinating products fashioned from recycled materials. Max delivers his workshops with great skill and good humour. I would highly recommend booking Max for a day at your school."
Tony Philcox, Deputy Head-teacher, The Alton School.

"It was a great experience meeting Max McMurdo. I came in not knowing much about recycling, but after I had a day with Max, I decided to start doing it at home. I enjoyed making a moneybox out of recycled materials, because I used to think that bottles and boxes were just rubbish that had to be thrown in the bin. I have now realised, you can actually build useful things out of junk. I got some excellent tips on how to run a business from Max. One day I’d like to run a business just like Max."

"We were delighted to welcome Max to Comberton Village College.  He spoke to our Business and Design students about his own experiences as a designer, entrepreneur, his time in the Dragons' Den and sharing a bath tub with Theo!  Max is an inspiring, interesting and hugely entertaining individual from whom the students learnt about what it takes to make a success of themselves, by being creative, innovative and by taking risks.  Can't wait for him to visit us again in the future!"
Christopher Warrington, Head of Business Studies Education, Comberton Village College, Cambs.

"Max McMurdo came to talk to the business studies and design A-Level/GCSE students at Comberton Sixth Form about his business Reestore. He told us about his history, and how he became an entrepreneur.
I found the talk very inspiring - it was very useful to hear facts we were learning in class demonstrated in every day life, and it also proved that what we were learning was not just for use in the classroom or on an exam paper.
Max is a great character - he is very grounded with a huge sense of humour. His characteristics really show through in his work - resilience, determination and more than anything his creativity. It was relieving to discover that he is defiantly not selfish, which we have considered as a potential characteristic of entrepreneurs, which has re-installed confidence in the business students that we can become entrepreneurs and still be ourselves!"
Olivia Gillard, Student, Comberton Village College, Cambs.
