Junk modelling

Children are clearly the ones who are going to save us from this eco mayhem, and Max considers it to be his mission to help them.

He regularly visits schools all around the country, encouraging students to think about recycling, shedding a whole new light on the green activity - a message that is often lectured and laborious.  Max opts an inspirational, educational, and fun approach, enthusing that, "you can see how much the children are learning about recycling through having fun."

Events can be targeted to suit your school's needs.  So whether it is a simple junk modelling exercise for younger students to encourage them to think about re-use, or joining methods and basic design principles, or even a more professional business based discussion about considering the importance of margins, cash flow, and identifying your customer, Max is the only man that can talk so much rubbish and make sense of it.  Usually, at the end of the event, an eco friendly item or service will be designed, and prototypes produced from junk.

Events are generally rounded off with a Q and A session, where Max usually discloses secret information about his experience in the Den, and tells of his near miss with becoming a teacher!

Above Max is working with a pair of budding young eco warriors, at a junk modelling event 2011.
